3rd Muse Poetry Journal is accepting submissions for all upcoming issues. We are looking for original, previously unpublished poems of any length, form or style, with selection criteria resting solely on quality (admittedly, a thing as subjective as the editor at hand). Originality, strong imagery and voice are encouraged.

Please submit all poems as plain text in the body of a single e-mail message (no attachments) to submissions@3rdmuse.com. Please type "Submission" in the subject heading of your email message to minimize the chance of your email becoming lost among the spam. Please submit no more than once per publishing cycle.

Simultaneous submissions are fine, but please identify them as such in your email message and notify immediately should a poem gain acceptance elsewhere.

Response time is typically two to eight weeks. Please query if you do not receive a response by the end of that period.

In the event of acceptance for publication, 3rd Muse Publishing and Web Design acquires first/one time publication rights. Copyright is retained by the author. All past issues are archived online indefinitely.

Rest assured, the moment the latter becomes accepted practice, we will be greatly pleased to implement the former.
