Editorial, Issue 8

Welcome to 3rd Muse Poetry Journal issue 8. I'm rather excited about the poetry on display this month, and pleased in particular to have the opportunity to feature some wonderful writing from poets you may not have heard of before. The quality of submissions received this month has been truly excellent, and I once again feel priviledged to have the opportunity to present them here at 3rd Muse.

A few words about the print edition: much to our delight here, the first print issue of 3rd Muse Poetry Journal received an unprecidented response from the literary world, and our print run of 300,000 was reportedly happily received by subscribers in over 20 countries. Let's keep out fingers crossed for next month as we expand our efforts and introduce 3rd Muse to Tibet, Guatemala, Fiji, and the Indonesian provence of Irian Jaya. Oh, wait, I'm looking at the projected figures from the marketing department here... No, wait, we don't actually have a marketing department... Maybe it's just some weird dream I had then...

In any case, the first print issue of 3rd Muse Poetry journal has definitely been released. You can see a picture of the cover right here if you don't believe me, and even order a copy and everything. None, as yet, have been returned to us, so what higher recommendation could you ask for?

Enjoy this month's issue. Many thanks to all contributors, readers, and a special thank you once again this month to Mary Beth for designing the issue's cover page.
