Laird
Barron
was born in Palmer, Alaska. A professional Iditarod competitor turned
writer, with poetry appearing in the Melic Review, Pith, Eclectica,
and others. His prose fiction has been accepted by the online journal
3LBE, and the Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. His interests
include research of ancient warfare, medieval diplomacy, and combat
martial arts. Mr. Barron lives in Seattle, Washington.
Lynnette
Hall is a staff member at the Writer's Block workshop at www.webdelsol.com.
She's been published once or twice on the web,and hopes to get the impetus
to submit more often. A resident of Florida, she is glad for the web
and the poetry communities available here.
Nicole
Jackson lives in Vancouver, Canada. She was a featured poet at Vancouver's
1999 "Word on the Street" literary festival and is currently a business
writing student at Simon Fraser University. Nicole is at work on her
first chapbook "Breakfast at the Blue Table: Sex Poems for Everyone."
This is her first publication.
Joelle
Renstrom graduated with a degree in English and creative writing
from the University of Michigan in the spring of 2000. Since then, she
has been travelling in Europe, trying to see the world and write about
it.
Verian
Thomas is a freelance writer with a day job, currently writing a
regular column for UK publication 'Headpress - A journal of sex, religion
and death' and contributing regular articles. He also edits Comrades,
an on-line publication of poetry, fiction, non fiction, art, reviews
and essays.
David
Wright's poems and essays have appeared in print and online in places
like The Midwest Quarterly, Karamu, 2River View, and re:generation quarterly,
among others. Lines from the Provinces is his first collection and can

He teaches writing and literature in Decatur, Illinois.
